Hamburg – the green city

Show notes

No other city in Germany has as many parks as Hamburg.

These include the large, well-known parks such as north of the Alster, the Stadtpark with its own bathing lake and Hamburg's planetarium in the west, the Volkspark, very close to the HSV stadium south of the Elbe, in Wilhelmsburg, the large Inselpark, which was completely redesigned around 10 years ago for the International Garden Show.

But in this episode, we introduce you to three parks that are a little more hidden - and have their very own history.

Wohlers Park: Norderreihe 2, 22767 Hamburg Baakenpark: Baakenallee, 20457 Hamburg Jenischpark: Baron-Voght-Straße 50, 22609 Hamburg
